Everyone’s welcome at our Birthday party!

In April 2012 we will be celebrating the 90th Birthday of our band. This year is particularly special, as it also marks the 10th anniversary of the move to our home in Lewes.

This seemed like a good excuse for a party, so we’ll be holding a concert at 3pm on Sunday 22nd April 2012 at Lewes Town Hall, and everyone’s welcome. It’s free to get in, and we’ll be holding a retiring collection for the Mayor’s Charities (The Oyster Project and Pells Pool). To reserve your seats, just call the Town Hall on 01273 471469 from tomorrow (Monday 26th March) onwards.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be sending out special invitations to as many former members of the band and people who’ve helped us out on jobs as we can possibly get in touch with, as well as other special guests. We’re asking our former members to come and play with us in the second half of the concert – so it promises to be a classic!

And of course, no 90th birthday party would be complete without tea and cake… See you there!
