Did you know that LGB Brass operates a training Band?

Did you know we can provide an instrument at no cost?

Did you know that membership and tuition is free?

Did you know that all music and tutoring books are provided free?

Who can join – any person who has some playing ability and has been learning for at least 3 months

What age? – we suggest ages 8 or 9 onwards for young learners – if you are a returning player then its any age!

Where – All Saints Friars Walk Lewes

When – Thursdays 7pm for 1 hour.

LGB Brass has run a training band for over twenty years and we have been pleased to have helped many young players in nurturing their musical aspirations. The group has varied in size and format over the years but the aim has always been to promote Brass instrumental tuition to all. Many of the training band have gone on to hold positions within the main band and others have gone on to perform or work at the highest of Brass Band circles or other professional musical environs.

You don’t get much for nothing these days however if you child is learning a Brass instrument please contact us via the web site where we can discuss joining the group. We make learning fun, improve ability, improve confidence, play in an ensemble, and all for free – including loan of an instrument.
